Itinerary

Day 1: Fes ➝ Ifrane ➝ Azrou ➝ Midelt ➝ Merzouga

Your journey begins at 8:00 a.m. with pickup from your accommodation in Fes. We travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing through Ifrane, often called “the Switzerland of Morocco,” and the cedar forest of Azrou, home to the playful Barbary macaque monkeys.

We continue toward Midelt for lunch, then drive through Tizi n’Talghamt Pass and the magnificent Ziz Valley, reaching the desert town of Erfoud before arriving at Merzouga. Enjoy free time to relax at your hotel overlooking the dunes.

Day 2: Merzouga Desert Tour – Erg Chebbi Dunes

Today is dedicated to exploring the Sahara. We will visit nomadic Berber families, local villages, oasis farms, and the black desert of Khamlia, known for its Gnawa music.

In the afternoon, experience a camel trek into Erg Chebbi dunes, where you will witness a stunning Sahara sunset. Dinner and overnight in a luxury desert camp, with traditional music under star-filled skies.

Day 3: Merzouga ➝ Rissani Souk ➝ Azrou ➝ Fes

Enjoy breakfast at the camp before we travel to the historic Rissani market, famous for its spices, dates, and traditional crafts. We then return through the Middle Atlas and cedar forests of Azrou, arriving in Fes in the late afternoon, marking the end of your desert adventure.
